• Employment Type: TravelPCU/MS/ED Hold-Float Pool 8 Week Holiday Incentive - Piedmont is offering a holiday incentive rate for travelers willing to start on posted start date for an 8 week assignment - 36 or 48hrs options. To qualify, travelers must have no RTO and must be willing to work Christmas Eve (12/24), Christmas Day (12/25), New Year's Eve (12/31), and New Year's Day (1/1) - they might not be scheduled all holidays but they must be available to work if needed.MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 2 years - Unit doesn't accept first time travelers PATIENT POPULATION: Adults to Geriatrics RATIO: 1:4-1/6 UNIT SYSTEMS: Pyxis, EPIC & SBAR UNIT DESCRIPTION: This position will be hospital float pool staff and will be expected to float throughout the hospital. Nurses in this role will be caring for post surgical, medical, PCU stepdown on IP units and ER as hold patients. Competencies for these services as well as critical drips will be expected. Ratios are 1:4-1:6 depending on patient acuity. Vent management, intensive/critical care and ED experience PREFERRED so RN can be utilized fully as a float pool staff member Must have experience: Cardiac drips, TR band removal and Bipap usage, ACLS BLSENPC PreferredSCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS: RTO: NOT APPROVEDWEEKENDS: Every Other FLOATING: Within facility and to sister campus if needed Aya Offer information: Once candidate has signed and confirmation sent, manager has 48H to review the profile/confirmation and determine if unit/schedule/expertise fit. *Aya Offer only available if clinical pass within RTO guidelines + meets specific facility requirements.
