Job Title : Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Homecare Services Job Location : Douglasville, GA 30135 Employment Type : Full Time Compensation : Competitive, based on experience ($32-$34 per hour ) Position Overview : We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join our team. The LPN will deliver dedicated care to a client in Douglasville, GA 30135. The ideal candidate must be punctual, reliable, and capable of managing care plans effectively. Responsibilities : Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and managing treatment plans. Demonstrate proficiency in specialized care procedures such as managing tube feedings, Foley catheters, and wound care. Implement and follow care plans, monitor patient health, and report any changes to the supervising Registered Nurse (RN). Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including condition, progress, and any notable changes. Monitor and document vital signs and administer psychotropic medications when necessary. Engage in crisis intervention and provide community education on health management and maintenance. Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for the patient. Communicate effectively with the client, their families, and other healthcare professionals involved in the client's care. Qualifications : Current LPN license in the state of Georgia. At least 3 years of practical experience as an LPN, preferably in a home care setting. Strong knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Compassionate with strong critical thinking and organizational skills. Physical stamina to perform nursing duties. Physical Requirements : Strength and endurance to lift, bend, sit, and move intermittently during working hours. Ability to work night shifts as required.
