Seeking a Board Certified Psychiatrist to join a practice in central Georgia just over 1 hour from Atlanta.-- This is a Hospitalist position with expectations of education participation. The unit consists of 42 inpatient beds and is staffed by 1 Psychiatry Medical Director and 2 staff psychiatry Hospitalists.-- Inpatient programming consists of an Adult unit, Geriatric unit, STAR (Stress, Trauma, Addiction, Recovery) unit specializing in the treatment of PTSD and a planned ECT service to begin late 2017.

This is an employment opportunity and offers a very competitive compensation and benefits package including health, dental and vision benefits, malpractice, CME and 401K.

Duties will include admitting, attending and providing psychopharmacologic treatment including detoxification and crisis intervention.

--Located just over 1 hour form Atlanta.
