Location: Seattle, WA Role: IBM MQ Cognizant Technology Solutions is looking for IBM MQ to join in our team of IT professionals in a permanent role. This role is with the Cognizant Enterprise Integration (EI) and Digital Process Orchestration (DPO) within Enterprise Platform Services Team. Cognizant's EI &DPO practice is a world leading provider of Hybrid Cloud Integration and Process Automation Services. EI &DPO practice has strategic alliances with "best of bread" platform providers to provide service for Cloud Integration, Hybrid Integration Platforms, B2B Platforms, DPA and Low Code Platforms, and Cloud Integration. Job Description: While each team member has a primary skill set, they are also expected to learn and contribute to areas outside of their primary skill set. The team is highly collaborative and values continuous improvement and open communication. You will be expected to be a well-regarded and respected individual contributor; possess strong inter-personal skills. This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including: Required Qualifications - The candidate should have in-depth knowledge of IBM MQ on Linux and messaging technologies. - Install, configure and maintain IBM MQ servers on Linux platforms. - Manage queue managers, queues, topics and channels. - Ensure high availability and reliability of MQ infrastructure. - Configure and maintain security, authentication and authorization - Monitor and troubleshoot MQ issues - Implement backup and recovery procedures for MQ configuration and data. Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $110,000 to $132,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
